The Coronavirus pandemic has brought enormous tragedy to people around the world. Lock-downs are crippling already impoverished nations such as Uganda. Millions of people with no source of income are for the first time, unable to buy the basic necessities to keep their families alive. The most recent data from the World Bank estimates that upwards of 41% of Ugandans are in extreme poverty (living on less than $1.90 per day). A lockdown has meant millions of people unable to go to work and many are now unable to afford food, medicine, and other basic necessities. If the situation continues for much longer, it will not be long before the unintended deaths from the lockdown begin. At the time of writing this, Uganda has had only 74 confirmed COVID-19 cases, yet we have spent more than 50 days in the lockdown, and the government plans to extend it by another 90 days.

$1000 Goal
To support and empower all kinds of children regardless of their background.
To create a conducive and a safe environment which will enable all kinds of children archive their goals and live a purposeful life.
It started as a call, driven by the Holy Spirit....Having seen so many young people with both physical and learning disabilities being under looked; we decided to stand with them through giving, advocacy, bridging the gap between them and all the other kinds of young people.
We are Children's love ministries, a fully registered community based organization located in Mityana district. We're a group of youths who were brought up by foster persons either as total orphans or children of single mothers. These foster parents compassionately provided for our human needs starting from shelter, food, health care, and Education. This is the root out initiative to establish a charity to provide humanitarian needs to poor orphans and children of single mothers, vulnerable and all people living in a aching world. Action for Rural Children's Empowerment exists to help every child reach their full potential. We help children stay safe, healthy and keep learning. We lead the way on tackling big problems which affect our children in communities like hunger, illiteracy, diseases among other problems. We make sure each child's needs are caterd for. We find possible ways of reaching to all those children who are in need no matter where they are growing up. We stand for children and make sure their voices are heard.
We wish to see the nation of Uganda transformed as we practically participate in transformational activities - showing God's love in action - involving spiritual, social and economic development.
We are reaching out to communities in our nation with love and compassion, proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching the Word of God, establishing and equipping Christians to become disciples, training leaders in ministry to enable them to help others to spiritual maturity, caring for the most vulnerable in society. Despite seemingly insurmountable challenges, such as the scourge of HIV/AIDS and other killer diseases, the legacy of internal conflict within Uganda and the break down of local survival systems for children, a generation of young people is rising up to overcome with unstoppable creativity. It is our responsibility to come alongside these young people and support them. Poverty can be devastating to a person's ability to reach their full potential and achieve what they have always dreamed of achieving. There may be days when all hope seems lost for the abandoned child, growing up in a household without parents, security or certainty. At Action for Rural Children's Empowerment we understand that poverty is as much a physical and economic reality as it is a psychological and spiritual state of being. We believe it is only the power in the Gospel of Jesus Christ that can make an eternal difference in such situations.

Water
Our community name is called Sekanyonyi town councils to get water in our community its very difficult we have to move for 3km to have water and after that we need to move again 3km to our home with water in our small jelecans with my children! we do move in high mountain until we bring water and that takes more time and it makes us sad but as you know that in life you must do whatever needed to do so that you get your goal i do not move alone we move with my children to go for water which helps us to cook and clean clothes, with our bodies. Unfortunately, the water we do get is not clean and not running water at all so we do share that water with the community and animals like cows, dogs which cause diseases to us. we have to collect water one on one with my children and when we come home we do not have any where that can help us to collect the water it means that we have to keep it in jelecans until father notes , but after moving for that long distance children feel sick and much pain in their bodies .
